This Erasmus+ project gave visibility to local producers at the event
The LOFT project was present on Sunday March 24 in the VI Runizar Animal Race giving visibility to local food production. LOFT had a stand in which free fruit from local producers was distributed to the participants in this event, which took place at the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine of the University of Zaragoza and its surroundings and which had more than 400 people attending.
LOFT is an Erasmus + project funded by the European Union and developed by a consortium of five partners from four Mediterranean countries (France, Spain, Italy and Turkey) in which the University of Zaragoza participates - through the Agri-Food Institute of Aragon (IA2). Targeted at small local food producers, consumers, local authorities and the general public, the project aims to contribute to EU policy on harnessing the potential of digital technologies for teaching and learning, and developing the digital skills of local small-scale food producers, involving them on the path of digital transformation.
