Loft Training
Within the scope of the LOFT Project, a modular, practical, and adaptable professional learning methodology (LOFT MET) was developed based on data obtained from WP2 and identified Vocational Education and Training (VET) needs. This methodology aimed to facilitate the digital adaptation of small-scale food producers and helped them develop skills in areas such as mobile technology, online marketing, and QR technology. It also provides tools and guides to raise consumer awareness of food tracking.
Target groups include (a) existing and potential small-scale local food producers (LGUs), (b) potential local food consumers, and (c) local government authorities and other relevant stakeholders.
Thanks to the modular structure of the LOFT MET, specialized curricula were implemented for producers (group a), while other stakeholders (groups b and c) were included in the creation of local food hubs under WP4 (LOFT MAPS).
LOFT Training Content was made available to participants throughout the project, and all materials were made available on the LOFT Platform at the end of the project. Thus, a permanent learning and interaction area was created for the LOFT community even after the project was completed.
